Why Should You Trust Me?
No particular reason. Other than checking out all the links I provide
to various studies, there's really no way to trust that any of what
I say is true. And yes, you're coming to a stranger for guidance on
cat food. Welcome to the Internet.
But for what it's worth, I'm:
- Not affiliated with any pet food company in any way, shape or
form, and have no commercial interests whatsoever in promoting a
certain food or way of feeding
- A dork with a decent science background who actually reads feline
nutrition texts for fun
- And although I hate being wrong, I'll cop to it (though maybe
sometimes not as gracefully as I should). So if you spot anything
extra-asinine, just e-mail
me and I'll correct it ASAP with all due apologies for being
a misinformed git. (You know what you can do with the DOOTDEEDOO
in the e-mail address.)
And make note, I'm not:
- A vet, or
- Any sort of certified animal nutritionist or other type of health
professional
That means if something you read here doesn't make sense, or if you
want to do something drastic like switch all your cats to home-made
food, talk to a vet first, mmmkay?
